“Blame it on the Project Manager! - Oops, sorry that’s you!”
by Franco Prati, Project Manager and Internet Marketing Consultant
We are all very busy with too many things to do - too many projects at work and in our personal lives (vacation planning, home renovations). So how can we stay on top of all this and make sure that everything will get done on time?
From a business prospective, this topic is especially useful for line and project managers and HR staff who want to learn how useful a good knowledge of Project Management can be to their work and their career! For example, what would you do if you were assigned a project, but not the authority to make things happen? You’ll learn the answer to that and many other useful tips!
Although you won’t become ‘PMI Certified’ in just two hours, you will attain a basic understanding of the Project Management process and an awareness of some areas you can improve which will help you to be more effective in both your professional and private life!
Oh yes, don’t worry, you are not required to know Microsoft Project or any other sophisticated tool to be a good project manager. It is far more critical to inject a Project Management culture in organizations than selecting and knowing the latest buzz words.
