Lee Iacocca’s “Global Village” – 27 Jun to 07 Aug 2010
Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA
This innovative leadership course is the brainchild of Lee Iacocca, the creator of the Ford Mustang! At a price of just over €4,400.00 it's a wonderful opportunity for a high-achiever to learn from the best while making global friendships that will last a lifetime. I’m a long-time supporter of this program and this year I’ll be there on the first training day to help kick off the program and to introduce the ‘Millennials’ in the audience to ‘4G Leadership’ – a concept that challenges them to overcome the catastrophes we face today – economic crisis, global warming, pollution, social unrest, war and famine, etc., etc.
The sad thing, as you will see on the attachment, is that throughout the years that this program has been in existence, Luxembourg has never provided a candidate! I will feel strange going there as a lecturer from a relatively rich country that doesn’t have a single organization willing to grant the time and financial backing for at least one deserving person to attend! Therefore, I am asking for your help in locating a volunteer – someone from Luxembourg – who can get away for six weeks during the summer ‘lull’ and can raise the cost of tuition (or perhaps, obtain company sponsorship). If you know someone, please contact me immediately and I’ll help them to get the ball rolling! Imagine the benefit they and their organization will reap when they return from such a wonderful opportunity!
I appreciate your help on this matter and will be pleased to see you or your colleague in the audience when I give my remarks on the 5th of July!
